dr. Panji Fortuna Hadisoemarto is a faculty member of School of Medicine, Universitas Padjadjaran. He is currently a Senior Researcher of the Center for Sustainable Development Goals Study (SDGs Center) of the university. He obtained his Master of Public Health degree from Georgia State University School of Public Health and currently Phd candidate from the Department of Global Health and Population, Harvard School of Public Health. Before continuing his studies in the U.S., he practiced medicine and has worked with the U.S. Naval Research Unit 2 in Indonesia on two large studies on dengue hemorrhagic fever in the cities of Bandung and Jakarta, and was also involved in the identification of first human H5N1 cases in Indonesia.
