Dadan Wardhana

Dadan Wardhana (Universitas Padjadjaran, Indonesia) is a senior lecturer and researcher at the Department of Agricultural Social Economics, Universitas Padjadjaran. He obtained double master’s degrees in regional planning from the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) in Bandung, Indonesia and in economics, planning, and policy from the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS) in Tokyo, Japan. He also holds a Ph.D. in agricultural economics and rural policy from Wageningen University (WUR), the Netherlands.

He has a strong interest in agricultural economics and rural and regional development economics. His work is closely linked to food security and sustainable food systems, poverty alleviation and inclusiveness, as well as the circular bioeconomy. His research is centred on the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically SDG 1, SDG 2, SDG 10, and SDG 12.
