Dr. Maxensius Tri Sambodo

Maxensius Tri Sambodo is a senior researcher at the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN). Between 2000 – 2021, he was a researcher at the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI) -Economic Research Center. He is also a visiting fellow alumnus from the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies (ISEAS-Yusof Ishak Institute) and Bank Indonesia Institute (BINS). He is also part of the research team on climate finance at World Resource Institute – Indonesia. His research interests are on economic development, energy, environment, and natural resources. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in economics from Padjadjaran University, Indonesia; Master’s in international and Development Economic from the Australian National University, Australia; and Ph.D. in Public Policy from the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS), Japan. Max is also a lecturer for post-graduate programs at the Universitas Nasional, Universitas Gadjah Mada and Universitas Padjadjaran.
