FGD Preparation of Guidelines for Enforcement of Environmental Law for the Attorney General’s Office – Handling of Hazardous Waste and Environmental Quality Standards

The preparation of Guidelines for Handling Environmental Cases at the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic of Indonesia regarding the handling of B3 waste and environmental quality standards will be held on Thursday, June 3, 2021. Auriga Foundation through its Capacity Building and Law Enforcement Collaboration program in the Natural Resources Sector is currently supporting the preparation of Guidelines for Handling Environmental Cases for Prosecutors. In the context of preparing these guidelines, a number of issues with law enforcement in the environmental sector have been made currently under Law no. 32 of 2009 concerning the Protection and Management of the Environment and the Job Creation Law.

Prof. Zuzy Anna as the Director of SDGs Center Unpad delivered material related to handling B3 waste and environmental quality standards. Whether it’s related to criminal provisions, the Job Creation Law, the PPLH Law, the framework of thinking between the non-economic economy and environmental impacts to the analysis of environmental damage from the B3 waste.
