10 May 2017 @ 09:00 - 11:00

In partnership with Center for Global Development and Institute of Ecology UNPAD, SDGs Center Unpad invited you to join our seminar series on Why Forest? Why Now?

Dr. Jonah Busch of Center for Global Development will discuss the topic surrounding his new book: Why Forest? Why Now? Which synthesizes the latest evidence on the importance of tropical forests in a way that is accessible to anyone interested in climate change and development and to readers already familiar with the problem of deforestation. It makes the case for decision makers in rich countries that rewarding developing countries for protecting their forests are urgent, affordable, and achievable. This seminar will be moderated by Dr. Parikesit from Institute of Ecology, Universitas Padjadjaran.
